Summer 2015

This year we were again pleased with the effort put in by pupils in Y2 and Y6. Below are the results and as you can see our pupils do at least as well if not better than many pupils across the UK. We are very grateful to the parents who spend time working with their children, supporting and working alongside the school so that the children do learn effectively and make good progress.

Areas for improvements on 2013

  • To increase the number of L5+ in writing and maths

Improvements since 2013

  • 100% L4 reading, maths and science and 96% for grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • A large %increase in L5 across reading, maths and grammar (This was one of our targets on the SDP)
  • An increase in L6 maths and grammar
  • Above national for L4 in reading, writing and maths
  • Above national for  L4b+ in reading, maths and grammar

Areas for improvement on 2013

  • To increase the number of children achieving L3 in maths, reading and writing

  • An increase in the number of L3 in maths, reading and writing. These are at or close to national attainment
  • An increase in L2b+ which are above national attainment in reading, writing and maths
