8.40-8.55 am doors open for Wake up Shake up.

8.55-9.00 am registration.

12:00-1:15 pm KS1 lunch time.

12:15-1:15 pm KS2 lunch time.  Friday s only 1:15pm close (club for children who cannot be collected at 1:15)

3:30 pm Home time for all children.

Inset days 2020 - School closes to pupils on 17th July 2020 and re-opens to pupils on 2nd September 2020.

Communication Updates

SCHOOL REPORTS - UPDATED COLLECTION TIME

Reports will be avilable for collection on Monday 13th July 9.30-12.00.  Any reports not collected will be posted.

TRIP REFUNDS

Culmington Manor refunds will be available for collection on Friday 3rd July 10.00-12.00 for those parents who emailed school with the information requested below.​

If you have paid towards the Culmington Manor, Space Centre and/or Cadbury World trips we will need to issue your refund via cheque.  Can you please email enquiry@stechford.bham.sch.uk with the name of your child and the name of the person to make the cheque payable to.

COMMUNICATIONS

As of Monday 15th June, we are changing our drop off and collection times for pupils currently attending school.

Pupils can be brought to the playground between 08:50 and 09:10 and can be collected between 15:00 and 15:15.

Please continue to observe the one way route around the school grounds.

SQUID

Please look out for emails from no-reply@Squid, our new method of communication.  You will not be able to reply to Squid emails but you can email us at enquiry@stechford.bham.sch.uk

We will be soon be using Squid for dinner and trip payments too, and we will send joining instructions to you shortly.  If you have not already given us your email address please do so as a matter of urgency or you may miss out on important information.

TEXT MESSAGING

From 31st March 2020 we will no longer be using text messaging to contact you about school events or information about your child.  We will be using an email based communication method instead.  It is vital that we have the main parent or carer's email address on file.  If you have not done so already, please give the school office your email address.

PARENT LITE APP

We will be sending out an invitation link to you so you can download the Parent Lite App.  This will enable you to view and amend your child's contact information, medical information and dietary requirements.

THE PACKS WILL BE UPLOADED TO THE WEBSITE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS FOR ANYONE WHO CANNOT COLLECT.

Important Notices

FREE SCHOOL MEAL (FSM) ELIGIBILITY

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you receive any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get).

All children upto (and including) Year 2 receive an automatic free school meal under the Government's Universal Free School Meal Programme, but please note if you register your eligibility with us your child will receive additional benefits, such as subsidised school trips.
